Questions, answered
Pyra is for people who have a useful app idea and want a small, plain-English group to help make it real. These are the factual basics before you sign in.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. Most people here have never written a line of code. You bring the idea and the willingness to build; the small group and the sessions handle the how.
Who is Pyra for?
Adults and kids who want to build something useful for their family, class, team, or neighborhood without waiting for permission.
Who runs the sessions?
An instructor guides each session, but the building is yours: you and the small group around your idea.
What does it cost?
Joining Pyra and proposing ideas is free. If a class forms, any class fee is set by the instructor or class organizer.
Is it online or in person?
Classes run in person in Redmond, WA, or online over Zoom.
